know that many patients are apprehensive about receiving dental care.
At Dr. Davis', we pride ourselves on our
ability to make each patient as comfortable and relaxed as possible
while receiving care.
First, we listen to your concerns. We then discuss different methods for
making you as comfortable as possible. Together, we lay out a
treatment plan that will meet your needs. We have several options:
Customized Comfort Just For You
We have a lot of
options for patients wanting added comfort at their dental appointments.
Many patients like listening to their favorite music with headphones
during their visit with us. We also have nitrous oxide (laughing gas)
available.
A cleaning that hurts is never any fun. Our hygienists are both thorough
and gentle. For sensitive gums we have a numbing gel called Oraquix that
is simply painted on the gums to give you a virtually pain-free
cleaning.
For patients with longer, more involved procedures, we can prescribe a
pill that helps you relax and be comfortable, and then you can enjoy
your private viewing of a great movie with our movie glasses.
More than anything, our staff has found that nothing helps your visit go
well more than good, old-fashioned T.L.C., and you’ll get plenty of that
here.
Topical Anesthesia
Many of our patients never know they have received an injection.
That's because a topical anesthetic is applied to the tissue with a
swab. This anesthetic numbs the spot where the doctor will
give you a gentle injection.
